Online group to learn computer programming(coding) together.

Hey!

Want to learn computer programming(coding) in a fun and engaging way? Then please come join us on Discord server "Code Bakers". Starting from Thursday, 4th Nov 2021, we will be co-learning computer programming online with other aspiring code bakers.

This is how it works: We select free, fun and interesting online programming courses conducted by universities from across the world. Everyday at 8 PM GMT/UTC on Discord we co-watch together few pre-selected modules from one of these courses. We discuss about the topics we are watching, help each other with questions and exercises of the modules. Next day at 8 PM GMT/UTC again we select next few modules from the course to work on. This continues everyday until the course is complete.

Following is the first set of online courses we will be participating in:

  1. CS50: Introduction to Programming with Scratch - conducted by Harvard University
  2. Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris (Part 1) - conducted by Hebrew University of Jerusalem
  3. Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris (Part 2) - conducted by Hebrew University of Jerusalem

We will start with modules from course #1. Once that is complete, then we will start course #2; and finally we will work on course #3. It will take us roughly 4-5 months to complete all these three courses.
